We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Technical Sales Manager to join a leading organization in the food industry. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong commercial acumen with deep technical understanding of food ingredients, food processing, or industrial food solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the food manufacturing market.
- Achieve sales targets through effective territory planning, customer engagement, and strategic account management.
- Prepare sales forecasts, proposals, pricing strategies, and competitive analyses.
- Provide technical expertise on food ingredients, formulations, or processing technologies.
- Collaborate with R&D and application teams to deliver tailored product solutions for customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and training sessions for clients.
- Build strong, longterm partnerships with key accounts, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring high satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
- Gather market insights, customer needs, and competitor activities to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Work closely with marketing teams on product launches, promotions, and events.
- Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure reliable delivery and service performance.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and industry networking events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in technical sales, business development, or application support in the food industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of food ingredients, processing systems, or industrial equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and regionally as required.
- Selfmotivated, analytical, and driven by achieving sales goals.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
