The Company is one of the largest, most technologically advanced, and efficient manufacturers of pulp and paper products in the world. We create products used by millions of people every day in liquid packaging, printing and writing paper, tissues, shopping bags, food packaging, magazines, and books.

Our business is founded on a fully integrated, sustainable Forest Management Policy. Our operations include a state-of-the-art pulp and paper mill, alongside plantation forests. We employ around 14,000 people directly and provide indirect employment to 90,000 across various sectors.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and drive sales activity for the Paper Board business in Thailand and other regional markets, in alignment with the organization's short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Must have proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in the packaging or paper board sector.
  • Responsible for overall financial performance, including profit and loss, of the Paper Board division.
  • Manage sales budget setting, sales allocation, and operational planning. Coordinate with the sales team and ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
  • Develop strong, lasting relationships with key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.
  • Establish and implement sales policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the business's growth, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Build and lead a motivated sales team in key international markets, especially in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Manage, coach, and develop the sales force to ensure high performance.
  • Shift from traditional product-based sales to a more solutions-oriented sales approach, meeting the evolving needs of customers in the packaging and paper board industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA is preferred).
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of successful commercial management experience, preferably in Paper Board products or adjacent sectors in the packaging value chain. A proven track record in managing sizable commercial activities at a regional level (Southeast Asia or APAC region).
  • Strong understanding of the packaging market dynamics in Thailand and Southeast Asia. In-depth knowledge of relevant products, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Strong business sense with excellent ability to drive growth, profitability, and cost-effectiveness in a competitive market.
  • Familiarity with international trading terms and best practices, especially in the APAC region.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders across different cultural contexts.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on team management, coaching, and performance-driven outcomes.
  • Resilient, hands-on approach to problem-solving with the ability to manage financials, budgets, and commercial operations effectively.
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
