Job Description

Our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented professional for an exciting sales role within the medical devices area. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced sales individual to contribute to the growth and success of innovative healthcare technologies.

About the Opportunity

This role is responsible for managing sales within a defined area. The individual will drive business development, establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals and distribution partners, and provide high-quality support and education around product offerings. This position is ideal for a passionate sales expert with a proven track record in the medical devices or healthcare field.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and potential partners
  • Address and resolve customer concerns effectively
  • Support clients through education, training, and product knowledge
  • Maximize market penetration through ethical and consultative sales approaches

Business Development

  • Define and implement a strong growth strategy
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to adjust plans for optimal outcomes
  • Promote products as industry-leading solutions
  • Identify high-potential segments and tailor sales strategies accordingly

Sales Execution & Planning

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans, including forecasting and reporting
  • Take full ownership of the sales function as a business unit
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet goals and overcome obstacles

Training & Support

  • Deliver product training and coaching for clients and colleagues
  • Stay current with industry developments and innovations
  • Participate in internal training programs and support educational initiatives

Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of sales targets and business objectives
  • Effective call planning and reporting
  • Contribution to company and departmental goals
  • Alignment with quality standards and compliance processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience managing distributors or key accounts
  • Strong presentation and sales planning capabilities
  • Degree-level education preferred (or equivalent work experience)
  • High ethical standards, adaptability, and a passion for innovation
