Position: Sales Manager Thailand

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Market Strategy & Business Development: Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the Thai market to achieve revenue and market share objectives. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across key segments including utility-scale projects, commercial & industrial (C&I) clients, distribution partners, and government-led energy initiatives.
  2. Client & Key Account Management: Build, nurture, and manage long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including large energy developers, investors, EPC contractors, distributors, and government entities. Lead high-value contract negotiations and ensure superior customer satisfaction.
  3. Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing local sales team. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team capability and drive results.
  4. Channel Expansion & Management: Establish, develop, and optimize a robust distributor and partner network to strengthen LONGi's market penetration and brand presence throughout Thailand.
  5. Market Intelligence & Planning: Continuously monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and customer trends. Provide accurate sales forecasting and strategic insights to support regional business planning.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, technical support, project management, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless project execution, timely delivery, and comprehensive customer solutions.
  7. Performance & Compliance Reporting: Prepare regular management reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market developments. Ensure all business activities adhere to company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum 8 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in the solar PV/renewable energy industry and 3 years in a sales management role. Proven success in achieving sales targets within the Thai or Southeast Asian market.
  3. Established network and strong relationships with key players in Thailand's energy sector, including developers, IPPs, EPCs, distributors, and relevant government agencies.
  4. Solid understanding of PV products, system applications, energy storage, and the competitive landscape. Knowledge of project financing, PPA structures, and local regulatory frameworks is highly preferred.
  5. Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to inspire a team and collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
  6. Results-oriented, strategic thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving ability.
  7. Fluency in English and Thai is required. Proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage.
  8. Willingness to travel frequently within Thailand and occasionally across the region.
