Job Purpose

Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications and integrations utilizing both traditional ABAP and modern SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, OData Services, CDS Views, RAP, and SAP Integration technologies.

Support digital transformation initiatives and ensure compliance with cybersecurity, SOX, and IT governance requirements.

Key Responsibility

• SAP Development & Enhancement

o Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and conversions.

o Develop and maintain SAP S/4HANA applications using modern ABAP programming techniques.

o Build and consume OData Services for SAP and non-SAP integrations.

o Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and enhance user experience through SAP Fiori Launchpad.

o Design and implement CDS Views, Core Data Services, and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) applications.

o Develop cloud-native solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), including CAP applications and extensions.

o Support SAP Workflow and SAP Build Process Automation initiatives.

• Integration & Architecture

o Develop and maintain interfaces using:

o IDoc / ALE

o RFC / BAPI

o Web Services (SOAP/REST)

o OData APIs

o SAP CPI (Cloud Integration)

o Support integration between SAP and external applications, cloud platforms, manufacturing systems, supplier portals, and SuccessFactors.

• Operations & Compliance

o Ensure SAP developments comply with:

o SOX controls

o Cybersecurity requirements

o SAP development standards

o SDLC and change management processes

o Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

o Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation activities.

• Continuous Improvement

o Identify opportunities to automate and optimize business processes using SAP technologies.

o Evaluate and adopt emerging SAP technologies and best practices.

o Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.

Education and Qualification:

• A Degree qualification in a relevant discipline

• Minimum 3-5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.

• Hands-on experience in ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming.

• Experience with SAP Data Dictionary, Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Preferred/Bonus to HAVE

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA development.

• Experience developing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.

• Experience building and consuming OData Services.

• Experience with CDS Views and RAP framework.

• Experience with SAP BTP services and extensions.

• Experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite.

• Experience supporting SOX audit and compliance requirements.

• Experience in Manufacturing, Semiconductor, MM, SD, WM, PP, PM, or FICO modules.
