Are you passionate about pet product excellence and driven by data-backed performance insights As our SEA Pet Product Performance Technologist, you'll lead the Controlled In-Home Panel to ensure our products deliver superior palatability and performance across Southeast Asia. What You'll Do
As our SEA Pet Product Performance Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead Controlled In-Home Panel Testing – Manage and execute in-home palatability tests, collaborating with requestors to define appropriate methodologies, schedule tests, prepare samples, and deliver accurate, reliable results aligned with Mars Global Product Performance standards.
- Ensure Methodology & Compliance Excellence – Operate and maintain Thailand's Controlled In-Home Panel in full compliance with Global Feeding Methodology standards covering pets, owners, product handling, and testing protocols, while continuously improving operational efficiency.
- Drive SEA Product Performance Program (MPPS) – Partner with SEA Marketing, Consumer & Market Insight, and Product Developers to align on annual testing plans, execute testing, and proactively share actionable insights.
- Represent Asia in Global Forums – Serve as a representative in the Asia Pet Performance Methodology Group, contributing regional inputs to global SOPs and cascading global updates to regional stakeholders.
- Develop People & Quality Standards – Build capabilities of 10–11 fieldwork contractor staff, ensuring high-quality execution, GMP-compliant sample co-packing, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage Budget & Governance – Monitor and control an annual testing and panel management budget of approximately USD 120K, ensuring spending aligns with plan and business priorities.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Education & Background – Bachelor's degree required with experience in Marketing Research or Quality Assurance is an advantage.
- Leadership & Experience – At least 5 years supervising others, with strong research and project management experience.
- Technical & Analytical Strength – Basic statistical knowledge, strong documentation and data management skills, advanced Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and familiarity with digital tools. Audit experience is a plus.
- Communication & Collaboration – Fluent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across Development, Marketing, and Consumer Insight teams.
- Personal Attributes – Strong planning and priority setting, detail orientation, problem-solving capability, resilience, proactive mindset, and growth orientation.
