We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant is responsible for full-cycle accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. This role also supports audits, strengthens internal controls, and provides guidance to junior accounting staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform account and bank reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved
- Ensure compliance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and prepare/submit VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax filings on time
- Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries
- Monitor cash flow and assist with annual budgeting and financial forecasting
- Review and strengthen accounting processes, policies, and internal controls
- Supervise, review, and mentor junior accountants and accounting officers
- Coordinate with other departments, banks, tax authorities, and external auditors on financial matters
- Prepare management reports and ad hoc financial analysis to support senior management decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and Thai tax regulations
- CPA license or CPD membership is an advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Express, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
