We are looking for a
Senior Accountant
to take ownership of GL operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting—playing a key role in ensuring accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness across the organization.
What You'll Do
General Ledger & Closing
- Own end-to-end General Ledger (GL) activities (journals, accruals, prepayments, allocations)
- Lead month-end & year-end closing with full accuracy and proper cut-off
- Perform in-depth Balance Sheet reconciliations (GL, Bank, AP/AR, Intercompany, VAT, WHT)
- Review and ensure all accounts are fully supported and cleared
Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and submit Corporate Income Tax (PND.50, PND.51)
- Reconcile tax reports with GL (VAT vs revenue, WHT vs expenses)
- Ensure compliance with Thai tax regulations & accounting standards (Thai GAAP / IFRS)
- Liaise with the Revenue Department (RD) for audits and tax matters
Financial Control & Reporting
- Maintain strong internal controls to ensure data integrity and audit readiness
- Prepare financial statements and support group reporting (e.g., consolidation, BFC package)
- Provide audit schedules and supporting documents for external audits
Analysis & Operations
- Manage rebates (CVR, SVR, contributions) based on contracts
- Calculate and post provisions (e.g., doubtful debts, inventory obsolescence)
- Monitor intercompany transactions, FX gain/loss, and GIT
- Oversee fixed assets accounting (capitalization, depreciation, reconciliation)
- Ensure compliance with IFRS16 (lease accounting)
Systems & Projects
- Perform asset processes and closing activities in SAP
- Participate in finance transformation & group initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience in GL, closing, and tax
- Experience with SAP is a strong advantage
- Good command of English
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of ownership
- Reliable, analytical, and able to work under deadlines
