About the Company & Role
We are partnering with a reputable A1 Main Contractor to recruit an Architectural Coordinator to liaise between key internal and external stakeholders and directly coordinate architectural design and technical works for an iconic and high profile MRT Infrastructure project in Singapore.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating between consultants, subcontractors, and the internal project team to ensure timely, accurate, and buildable architectural drawings that are aligned with design intent and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a high level of design consistency, buildability, and compliance with project requirements by coordinating and reviewing architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
- Resolve design and technical issues by collaborating with consultants and subcontractors, ensuring that design intent is effectively translated into constructible solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of draftspersons in preparing detailed shop drawings and technical submissions according to the project master programme.
- Identity discrepancies across different disciplines and interfaces and propose practical solutions to maintain design integrity and buildability.
- Collaborate with the site team to support construction sequencing, material selection and design implementation.
- Ensure that architectural drawings maintain a high level of alignment with statutory requirements and are promptly submitted for approval.
- Support project documentation, meeting coordination, and inspection processes as required.
- Maintain and uphold high safety and quality standards in all aspects of coordination and site work.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years experience in architectural coordination within the construction industry, preferably with main contractors in Singapore.
- Experience in MRT or LTA project is a must.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction details, building materials, and local authority submission requirements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and other relevant coordination tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment.
