The Role: The Strategic Bridge Between Business and Technology

As a Senior Business Analyst, you are the critical link between our business ambitions and our technology solutions. You will lead the charge in defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements for new product initiatives, ensuring that we build solutions that solve real-world problems. This role requires a strategic thinker who can dissect complex business needs, manage product backlogs with data-driven precision, and serve as the central communication hub for key projects. You will be instrumental in translating vision into actionable development plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Discovery & Strategy: Lead discovery and analysis for new product initiatives, defining scope and strategy in partnership with the product team.
• Requirements Definition: Develop and articulate detailed business requirements and use cases, ensuring they are understood and validated by both business and technology teams.
• Backlog Management: Manage the prioritization of the product backlog, making data-informed decisions to balance new features with technical improvements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary communication link for your product area, effectively articulating requirements, dependencies, and project trade-offs to all stakeholders.
• Roadmap Collaboration: Collaborate directly with the Product Owner to refine the product roadmap and ensure the backlog is consistently groomed and ready for development.

You have a proven ability to understand intricate business processes and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams. The ideal candidate is a master of prioritization, an exceptional listener, and a persuasive communicator who can align stakeholders and drive projects forward with clarity and purpose.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in business development or business analysis is mandatory.
• Technical Experience: Previous experience in software development.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and proven ability to understand complex business challenges and provide a suitable solution for end-users.
• Interpersonal Skills: Soft skills include negotiation, active listening, and presentation skills.
• Preferred Skills: SQL knowledge and/or a background in the financial service industry is a plus.
