Senior Business Development Manager – Automation Modules / Robotics Solutions

Location: Bangkok / Chonburi, Thailand

Travel: Customer site visits required

About the Role

Techman Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager to lead automation module and robotics solution business growth in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

This role is responsible for revenue growth, sales plan execution, business planning, key customer development, and project opportunity conversion.

Our focus industries include automotive, semiconductor, medical, electronics manufacturing, and labor-intensive assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive revenue target, sales plan, and business plan for automation module business
  • Develop new customers and project opportunities based on Techman Robot solutions
  • Identify customer pain points in labor cost, productivity, quality, safety, and automation needs
  • Lead customer engagement from first contact, technical discussion, RFI/RFQ, proposal, quotation, trial, to project award
  • Work with application, technical, and project teams to define feasible and competitive automation solutions
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts, system integrators, and industry partners
  • Maintain sales pipeline, forecast, opportunity status, and market intelligence

  • Qualifications
    • 8+ years of experience in business development, industrial sales, automation, robotics, equipment, or system integration
    • Strong experience in B2B project sales, revenue ownership, and key account development
    • Familiar with automotive, electronics, semiconductor, medical, or assembly manufacturing
    • Able to understand customer processes and identify automation opportunities
    • Basic understanding of automation layout, cycle time, ROI, and project cost
    • Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up, and execution skills
    • Fluent in English; Thai or Chinese is a strong advantage
    • Self-driven, result-oriented, and willing to travel to customer factories

  • Preferred Experience
    • Experience selling industrial automation, cobots, machine vision, production equipment, or system integration projects
    • Existing customer network in Thailand or Southeast Asia manufacturing industries
    • Experience working with Taiwanese, Chinese, Japanese, or multinational manufacturing customers
    • Experience building new business from early-stage market development

    • 具备 B2B 项目型销售、revenue ownership 和重点客户开发经验
    • 熟悉 汽车、电子制造、半导体、医疗或组装制造 行业者优先
    • 能理解客户制程,并识别可自动化改善机会
    • 具备基本的 自动化 layout、cycle time、ROI、项目成本 理解能力
    • 沟通、谈判、跟进和执行能力强
    • 英文可作为工作语言;会泰文或中文者优先
    • 主动积极、结果导向,愿意频繁拜访客户工厂

    优先条件
    • 工业自动化、协作机器人、机器视觉、生产设备或系统集成项目 销售经验
    • 在泰国或东南亚制造业有客户资源者优先
    • 有与台湾、中国、日本或跨国制造客户合作经验者优先
    • 有从早期市场开发开始建立新业务的经验者优先
