Job Description


Job Scope: The Senior Manager of Business Development is responsible for leading efforts to identify, secure, and develop new business opportunities, contributing to the company's growth and success. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive long-term partnerships. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement tailored strategies for business expansion. Drive revenue growth by overseeing proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Conduct business intelligence analysis, including market research and trend evaluation, to provide actionable insights for strategic decisions. communicate internally and externally through marketing tools, participation in exhibitions, conferences, networking events and by managing newsletters.
  • Develop a strong understanding of priority sectors, including market routes and emerging trends. Identify and engage with potential new business leads by assessing needs and delivering tailored customer presentations.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to design and implement strategies for pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Perform risk and opportunity analysis (ROA) to evaluate, mitigate, and manage risks while identifying potential growth opportunities for SVI.
  • Coordinate with the RFQ team to prepare and submit accurate quotations and proposals to customers.
  • Secure new business opportunities by aligning requirements, negotiating contracts, and managing customer relationships.
  • Prepare and present business reports, including financial data, forecasts, and updates on business opportunities, to management.
  • Manage small project teams to plan, execute, and complete assignments.
  • Supervise and mentor team members and assist with onboarding and training programs for new employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience: Over 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in business development or a related role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and strong English communication skills.
  • Soft skills: Excellent interpersonal Skills, organizational, problem-solving, adaptability, attention to detail, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.
