Job Responsibilities
We're on the lookout for an experienced and result-driven Senior Business Development Specialist to build upon our existing relationships, develop new channels of business and grow our client base and revenue within the payment gateway industry.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Development Specialist to strengthen existing partnerships, develop new business channels, and expand our client base and revenue within the payment gateway industry.
- Lead and drive business development initiatives to expand the company's market presence and revenue growth.
- Proactively identify, acquire, and develop new business partners and strategic clients.
- Identify, establish and maintain partnership with key clients, industry leaders and and regional payment method partners.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Merchant Business Development teams to enhance sales materials, refine value propositions, and introduce innovative solutions to the market.
- Develop and present marketing and promotional initiatives to both new and existing partners, delivering mutually beneficial campaigns aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to product roadmap discussions and provide strategic input to Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
- Support management reporting and data analysis to develop business forecasts, monitor KPIs, and track overall performance.
- Take ownership of merchant business development and regional growth operations by driving transaction volume and user penetration through merchant acquisition, marketing campaigns, and operational execution, leveraging the company's platform capabilities and resources. Demonstrate clear value to merchants, partners, and end-users through a deep understanding of the company's platform ecosystem.
- Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams during commercial negotiations, as necessary, to ensure full regulatory and contractual alignment.
Requirements
Pre-Requisites :
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Fintech or payment service provider industry; preferably familiar with gaming and gift card/codes business is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in B2B business development or managing key partners/client accounts with the ability to maintain good business relationships.
- Preferably with experience of managing senior stakeholders and exposure in regional/global markets.
- Comprehensive understanding of payment industry regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good management and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, driven, and committed with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
