Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Supplier management, supplier selection/evaluation (potential analysis; audits) and quality development of new suppliers to ensure multiple sourcing and extended supplier capabilities that requirements are met to highest possible degree and to implement zero defect thinking
- Operations Plan with yearly goals (SCAR / FAR) and strategies to minimize negative quality impact to inform Infineon Management and sites about main areas of activities
- Project support Actively lead supplier improvement projects (e.g. for new technologies or quality driven capacity shortages) to take the quality mindset into projects and to ensure on time supply in full
- Plan, initiate and perform regular supplier audit according to IATF/VDA6.3, including supplier management meeting to strengthen partnership to achieve above objectives. This includes driving the implementation of IFX concept of NLoZD and CIP programs at supplier sites.
- Owner of F1 material deviation handling activities to minimize potential impact to internal customers. Key activities includes suspected material management and disposition, supplier problem solving and affected material/WIP risk assessment through cross functional coordination.
- Organization of PPA (VDA 2) for new Materials. Manage supplier-initiated changes [Supplier PCN] via GCM process together with affected functions for evaluation and provide timely feedback to supplier for acceptance.
- Rate and input raw material supplier's quality performance (SES)
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Bachelor's or master's Degree in any Engineering field (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial), Physics or Material Science.
- Prior experience in the semiconductor backend or automotive industry is preferred. Strong systematic thinking, good attitude and understanding of Problem-solving skills (such as PDCA, 8D, FMEA, MSA and SPC).
- IATF16949 & VDA 6.3 auditor certified and VDA 2 trained.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and engineering team members.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive learning attitude.
- Flexible and willing to travel for business trips.
