Job Purpose:
- Working on Demand and Supply Planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively minimize and eliminate out-of-stock (OOS) situations that may impact case fill rate and perfect order performance.
- Manage fluctuations between actual sales and forecasted demand, and promptly trigger updates or adjustments to the supply plan in collaboration with the Industrial Planner.
- Own the weekly stock deployment across all warehouses to ensure optimal inventory levels that support daily and weekly sales, new product launches (NPD), and promotional activities.
- Monitor stock freshness and ageing, initiating stock rotation or inter-warehouse transfers when necessary to optimize inventory health.
- Develop and manage run-down plans for promotional and discontinued SKUs across finished goods (FG), raw materials, and packaging materials.
- Partner closely with Production Planners to address and resolve any stock availability or supply-related challenges.
- Ensure timely monthly execution of export market (EM) stock fulfillment to support shipment requirements.
- Provide support on ad hoc tasks and cross-functional projects as required.
Education/Experience (Minimum entry level requirements for the job)
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in inventory management, supply planning, or a related function.
- Prior experience in the FMCG industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage demand fluctuations and inventory levels effectively.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with ERP or planning systems is preferred.
