Senior Finance & Accounting Manager
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions, improve operational performance, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare monthly financial performance reports, quarterly outlooks, annual financial reports, and management presentations.
- Manage and develop the finance and accounting team, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality execution of daily activities.
- Support business initiatives through financial evaluation, feasibility analysis, financial modeling, and assessment of new opportunities.
- Oversee cash flow planning, monitoring, and forecasting to support effective financial management.
- Review financial information across business functions and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and relevant stakeholders on financial, tax, and compliance-related matters.
- Lead improvements in finance processes, workflows, and internal procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and business support capabilities.
- Collaborate with Corporate Treasury to ensure cash management activities align with company objectives and financial strategies.
- Support annual business planning and budgeting activities by working closely with department leaders, senior management, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor customer billing processes, outstanding balances, and collection performance to support effective working capital management.
- Ensure financial transactions, payments, and expense management activities are properly reviewed, supported, and processed in accordance with company policies.
- Oversee periodic financial closing activities, ensuring accuracy of financial information and compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Provide financial support for BOI-related matters and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Work closely with legal advisors to provide financial input and support for business agreements and contractual matters.
- Review cost structures and spending patterns to identify opportunities for better financial efficiency and cost management.
- Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
- CPD License is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, reporting, budgeting, business analysis, cost management, or audit-related functions.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, taxation, and business finance operations.
- Ability to analyze financial data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
