We are looking for hire for a strong Finance leader to be based in our Thailand office:
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee and handle end-to-end financial operations, including
- Design accounting control processes for FinTech products (e.g., digital payments, cash management), including implementing and maintaining robust internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Manage cash flow and optimize capital efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and stakeholders, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
- Involve in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly reporting.
- Preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, LOCAL GAAP).
- Prepare financial data for regulatory forms submission (e.g. Central Bank in each jurisdiction)
- Lead the preparation for audits, coordinating with external auditors and all stakeholders, as well as ensuring all required documentation and processes are in place.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration with regional finance managers and shared service center teams
Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting and leadership for payment or fintech companies. Has experience leading the automation of financial systems.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Certifications (Preferred): ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing or leading a cross-boarder finance team, with strong people management skills and a focus on team development.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), regulatory requirements and tax compliance.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present complex information in a clear and actionable manner.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai, with the ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Proficiency in Chinese Language is a advantage to communicate with the team based in China
