Job Overview
The Senior HR Officer (Recruitment-Focused) is responsible for leading and executing talent acquisition activities while supporting core HR operations across the organization.
This role places a primary focus on recruitment (approximately 60%), ensuring timely and effective hiring aligned with business growth, while also supporting employee lifecycle processes, HR operations, and employee relations.
The position requires a proactive, result-driven individual who can operate in a fast-paced environment and partner closely with hiring managers to deliver high-quality talent.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (60%)
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and role requirements
- Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines across multiple functions
- Utilize various sourcing channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, agencies) to attract talent
- Ensure recruitment targets and timelines are met efficiently
- Track and report recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline status, hiring success rate)
- Enhance employer branding and candidate experience throughout the hiring process
2. HR Operations & Administration (25%)
- Manage employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers, offboarding)
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
- Coordinate payroll inputs (attendance, OT, allowances) and ensure data accuracy
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as required
3. Employee Relations & HR Support (15%)
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related matters
- Support disciplinary actions and employee communication processes
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies and procedures
- Assist in maintaining a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment
- Proven track record in hiring across multiple roles/functions
Skills & Competencies
- Strong recruitment and sourcing capabilities
- Good understanding of HR processes and labor law fundamentals
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple hiring requirements
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proactive, result-driven, and able to work independently
Technical Skills
- Experience using recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, ATS systems)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR systems
Additional Requirements
- Experience in fast-paced environments (e.g., startup, e-commerce, retail) is an advantage
- Good English communication skills (preferred)
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
