Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end continuous improvement (CI) projects to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis, root cause analysis, and performance metrics
  • Facilitate and implement Lean tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED) across the organization
  • Drive cost-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives aligned with business targets
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to implement process improvements
  • Lead problem-solving workshops using structured methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, A3, 8D)
  • Develop and track KPIs related to productivity, yield, downtime, and waste reduction
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers and operators on CI tools and mindset
  • Standardize best practices and ensure sustainability of improvements
  • Support digital transformation initiatives and data-driven decision-making

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • % Improvement in OEE / productivity
  • Cost savings delivered (annualized)
  • Reduction in downtime / defects / waste
  • Number of CI projects successfully implemented
  • Sustainability of improvements (audit/compliance results)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related fields)
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement roles
  • Proven track record in delivering measurable improvement projects
