Job Description

Senior PMO – Core Insurance

Location/Work mode: Yan Nawa, Bangkok/ Hybrid

Role Purpose

The PMO – Core Insurance is responsible for governing, coordinating, and supporting the delivery of Core Insurance programs. The role ensures projects are executed according to agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality, while providing clear visibility and control to senior management.

Key Responsibilities :

PMO & Governance

  • Establish and maintain PMO standards, templates, and governance for Core Insurance projects
  • Track project progress, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and insurance regulatory requirements

Program & Project Coordination

  • Support delivery of Core Insurance initiatives (policy administration, claims, billing, underwriting)
  • Coordinate multiple projects and workstreams across business, IT, vendors, and system integrators
  • Maintain integrated master plans and dependency management across programs

Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare regular project status reports, dashboards, and steering committee materials
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Monitor KPIs and benefits realization for Core Insurance programs

Risk & Change Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and change requests
  • Support impact analysis and escalation of critical issues when required

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as a coordination point between business users, IT teams, and external vendors
  • Support vendor performance tracking and delivery governance

Required Experience & Skills :

Experience

  • Solid experience in PMO, project, or program management
  • Experience working with Core Insurance systems or insurance IT projects is highly preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-vendor and system integration environments
  • Strong planning, coordination, and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Hybrid delivery models
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in structured, regulated environments
