Position: Senior Project Manager
Position Reports to: Department Director
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Reporting to a Department Director, this position is designed with a key responsibility for realizing the project roadmap through steering and executing product development projects across the portfolio — from ideation through to launch.
Lead efforts to drive globalization learnings and associated project management processes across the category as part of business capability building.
This Will Require
- Management of product project-related activities from initiation to Post-Launch, ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within approved funding limits, and meet final project objectives
- Design and ownership of project management processes and ways of working, including training out to global teams
- A seasoned professional who can work responsibly and independently, and who is skilled in managing communication effectively to all levels of stakeholders
- Confident using core PMO and AI tools to support project planning, tracking, and reporting, and to drive efficiency across the project lifecycle
The Scope of Key Responsibilities Includes
- Lead product project/platform core team meetings. Maintain effective communication and working relationships among the project core team
- Work with cross-functional team members to assess feasibility of project scope and develop detailed project timelines with sufficient flexibility and contingency to meet unanticipated events
- Assign defined schedules and track and enforce cross-functional tasks/activities to ensure project progress within expected timings
- Lead risk analysis & mitigation planning for projects
- Identify, monitor, communicate and resolve issues, scope changes, budget variances or other hurdles that may arise during project execution
- Interface with regional and cross-functional teams to obtain project-relevant information
- Ensure compliance with governance as required
- Effectively facilitate meetings with senior leaders and drive relevant discussions to achieve objectives (this could be issue resolution, training, governance, prioritization, roll-outs)
- Design and own an assigned business portfolio's project management processes and training to the organization
The Position Will Be Measured Primarily On
- Successful completion of individual projects, meeting all project deliverables (timely delivery within the costs agreed in the business case)
- Ensuring projects comply with applicable global, regional and local regulatory and quality requirements
- Efficient & effective resolution of project-related issues and all levels of stakeholder management
- Ability to balance process compliance, scope, resources and speed-to-market to achieve business commitments
Qualifications
- Strong Project Management experience with a minimum of 10 years experience in FMCG/CPG; personal care or consumer health experience preferred
- Proven track record managing physical product development and launch projects,
- PMP® qualification or equivalent. Minimum of bachelor's degree
- Reliable and professional in every aspect — holistically driven for the greater good versus myopic focus
- Ability to lead, motivate, influence and supervise cross-functional teams with trust and integrity
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; comfortable working with detail
- Ability to perform under pressure, adapt to changes and meet deadlines
- Results-oriented
- Superior follow-up skills to ensure that actions are completed and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Ability to work with existing or adapted processes to drive consistency and results, while identifying continuous improvement opportunities
- Commercial acumen.
- Practical experience with PMO tools / software and applying AI tools (e.g. for scheduling, risk tracking, reporting, or data analysis) to improve project management efficiency.
