Key Objectives
- Develop, Identify, evaluate, and cultivate high-impact external partnerships that bring new capabilities, technologies, and insights into the innovation pipeline.
- Expand the company's innovation beyond jewelry industry by tapping into adjacent industries, academic research, and emerging startups.
- Build strategic co-development models to integrate ecosystem contributions into Product, Service and Manufacturing innovation.
- Act as the centre in managing all external collaboration processes
Key Duties
- Ecosystem Strategy
- Develop a roadmap and execution plan for external partnership engagement accordingly to innovation 3-Yrs roadmap and emerging trends.
- Continuously scan academic, startup, and industry landscapes to identify new technologies, capabilities, or partners.
- Laisd with IP function to segment the external ecosystem into strategic horizon
- Partner Management
- Lead scouting, evaluation matrix for Feasibility study, innovation score matrix, and onboarding of external partners including universities, startups, and research institutes.
- Manage and coordinate partnership processes including NDA, co-development agreements, and governance reviews.
- Serve as the central connector for all innovation collaborations, ensuring alignment with project needs and timelines.
- Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with portfolio managers and PMO teams to translate innovation challenges into partnership briefs.
- Facilitate co-creation workshops, knowledge exchange sessions, and joint development initiatives.
- Develop Tracker and measure the impact of ecosystem contributions on project outcomes and innovation KPIs.
- Platform Management
- Oversee the design, usage, and continuous improvement of a centralized innovation ecosystem platform or database. (eg., Open innovation, Innovation summit, Bottom-up Innovation)
- Ensure partner data, engagement history, scouting records, and collaboration outcomes are systematically captured and updated.
- Train internal teams on how to use the platform to identify potential partners, track interactions, and access shared knowledge.
- Leverage the platform as a strategic tool to identify capability gaps, manage partner relationships, and scale successful collaborations.
Educational background: Bachelor or Master degree

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Innovation Management, or related field
Pivotal And Professional Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in innovation, strategy, portfolio management, or process improvement roles.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience with digital tools, innovation frameworks (e.g., Stage-Gate, Lean Startup), and KPI development.
