Senior Tax Manager – Group Finance | Bangkok
Permanent | Full-time | Bangkok
The Opportunity
This is not a compliance seat. It's a chance to take full ownership of a complex, multi-entity tax function inside one of Thailand's most financially resilient listed industrial groups — with direct access to senior finance leadership and genuine scope to shape how the business approaches its tax strategy.
The organisation operates across manufacturing, property, and industrial investment verticals, with 20+ entities and a tax portfolio that spans large-scale capital assets, property holdings, and cross-border structures. The person stepping into this role will have the weight — and the platform — to make a visible difference.
What You'll Own
- Full responsibility for the Group's direct and indirect tax position across a diverse portfolio of entities, including property, manufacturing, and investment holdings
- Oversight of complex transfer pricing structures, intercompany transactions, and cross-border compliance — including familiarity with OECD guidelines and double taxation frameworks
- Management of significant tax refund portfolios and capital-related tax optimisation tied to ongoing fixed-asset investments
- End-to-end liaison with government authorities — Revenue Department, Customs, BOI — on audits, filings, and regulatory matters
- Leading, mentoring, and building capability across a mixed-experience team of five, covering different career stages and functional specialisations
- Advising the Head of Finance and Group CFO (international leadership team) on tax risk exposure, regulatory developments, and investment structuring
Who You Are
- 10+ years across corporate tax, transfer pricing, and/or tax advisory — ideally a blend of Big 4 advisory and in-house corporate experience
- Technically sharp across Thai tax law, property taxation, BOI incentives, and international tax — you know the details, not just the headlines
- A credible people leader who builds trust with a team, not just a technical authority who operates in isolation
- Confident communicating in English at Board level — this group has Thai, French, and Indian leadership
- Comfortable in an SAP environment; exposure to S/4HANA is a plus
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, or conglomerate environments is advantageous — but what matters most is that you've operated at scale and complexity
