About The Team

The Sorting Center Operations Lead is responsible for managing end-to-end sorting center operations while driving strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency, capacity utilization, and service quality. This role ensures high-volume parcel processing runs smoothly while continuously optimizing processes, resources, and infrastructure to support Shopee Express growth.

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee daily sorting center operations including inbound, sorting, and outbound processes to ensure parcels are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
  • Manage and develop frontline operational teams, including shift leaders and operators, to maintain high productivity and operational discipline.
  • Monitor key operational KPIs such as throughput, on-time dispatch, sorting accuracy, and backlog, and drive actions to improve performance.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance sorting efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Collaborate with Linehaul, Last Mile, Network Planning, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless parcel flow across the logistics network.
  • Lead peak planning and capacity management to support high parcel volume growth during campaigns and peak seasons.
  • Drive operational excellence through SOP standardization, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational policies, and risk management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, or high-volume operations.
  • Proven experience managing large operational teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in operational performance management.
  • Ability to lead process improvements and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
