Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Strategy and Business Development, Specialist to lead strategic planning and customer marketing initiatives focused on acquisition and nurturing for both new and existing customers in the life insurance sector. This role emphasizes special project leadership, customer-centric strategies, and data-driven decision-making to drive sustainable growth and enhance customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Business Development

  • Lead strategic planning initiatives with comprehensive market analysis and customer insights.
  • Drive special projects related to customer acquisition, distribution activation, and customer engagement
  • Research and evaluate new market segments, distribution channels, and growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives aimed at improving insurance agent and customer experience.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional strategic initiatives and long-term business planning.

Customer Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategic frameworks for customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Design and optimize customer/insurance agent journeys across digital and non-digital touchpoints.
  • Create and maintain CRM strategies to enhance engagement and loyalty for existing customers.
  • Establish governance frameworks and best practices for customer lifecycle management.
  • Drive process innovation and strategic enhancements to improve customer experience

Senior Leadership's Office Support

  • Assist the leadership team in preparing strategic presentations for senior management.
  • Coordinate special projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between the marketing department and other business units for strategic initiatives.
  • Support governance and communication for key marketing priorities and innovation projects.

Qualifications:

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in insurance, related financial industries or with MBA
  • Previous experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting roles
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Team player, humble, organized and result driven
  • Be able to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment

Strategic & Analytical Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and business development capabilities
  • Proficiency in presentation and analytics tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau) for strategic insights
  • Experience with strategic forecasting, financial modeling, and business case development

Core Competencies

  • Strategic mindset with proven ability to identify and develop business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholder engagement
  • Strong project management capabilities for leading strategic initiatives
  • Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable analytical frameworks
