The opportunity
Aliens Tattoo is the most recognised name in premium tattooing in India — a ₹45 Cr brand with a credible line of sight to ₹500 Cr by 2030, built on a franchise network we're taking to 100 studios across India and select international markets. Every one of those studios lives or dies on a decision made before a single needle touches skin: where it opens. A strong studio in the wrong location fails; an average one in the right location thrives. Site selection is the single highest-leverage call in this entire expansion — and right now it has no one whose full-time craft is getting that decision right. That is the gap you fill. You are the person who makes sure we open in the right place, on the right terms, every time.
The mandate
You own recruitment end-to-end.
From understanding what great talent looks like, to building sourcing strategies, attracting candidates, assessing fit, influencing hiring decisions, and ensuring successful onboarding—you own the entire journey. You are not a coordinator. You are not a resume-forwarding machine. You are a talent hunter.
The business will continue to grow aggressively, which means hiring across operations, customer experience, sales, marketing, creative, leadership, and emerging business functions.
Your responsibility is to ensure that hiring never becomes the bottleneck to growth.
You will build talent pipelines before they are needed, create systems that make hiring predictable, and establish recruitment processes that scale as the organization grows.
When leaders think about hiring, they should think of you as the person who makes it happen.
What you'll be doing
• Owning the recruitment funnel from requisition to joining across multiple departments.
• Partnering with hiring managers to understand the real requirements of the role—not just the job description.
• Building sourcing strategies that consistently attract high-quality candidates instead of relying solely on incoming applications.
• Actively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, networking, job portals, social media, and talent communities.
• Conducting structured interviews that assess capability, values alignment, ownership mindset, and cultural fit.
• Managing candidate pipelines with urgency and precision to ensure positions are filled within agreed timelines.
• Creating an exceptional candidate experience through transparent communication and timely follow-ups.
• Maintaining accurate hiring data and recruitment workflows through Zoho Recruit.
• Tracking recruitment metrics such as Time-to-Fill, Time-to-Hire, Offer Acceptance Rate, Source Effectiveness, and Quality of Hire.
• Building recruitment dashboards and reports that provide visibility to leadership.
• Driving employee referral initiatives and employer branding activities to attract stronger talent.
• Continuously improving recruitment systems, SOPs, trackers, and workflows to make hiring more scalable and predictable.
What we're looking for
You've recruited before—and owned outcomes, not activities. You understand that posting a job and waiting is not recruiting.
You know how to identify talent, engage passive candidates, overcome objections, and move candidates through the funnel with speed and professionalism.
You are highly resourceful. When a role is difficult to fill, you don't complain about the market. You find a way. You understand recruitment metrics and use data to improve performance rather than relying on instinct. You communicate exceptionally well. Candidates trust you. Hiring managers respect you.
You can challenge stakeholders when needed and influence decisions with confidence. You care deeply about candidate quality and understand that every hire impacts company culture, performance, and growth. Experience with Zoho Recruit or similar ATS platforms is strongly preferred.
Experience hiring for customer-facing, sales, operations, creative, retail, hospitality, or fast-growing startup environments is a strong advantage. Tattoo-industry experience is not required.

What success looks like
Within your first few months, recruitment visibility has dramatically improved. Open positions have clear ownership, accurate tracking, and healthy candidate pipelines.
Hiring managers trust your recommendations because the candidates reaching final rounds are consistently strong. Candidates speak positively about their experience—even when they aren't selected. Recruitment data is visible, actionable, and helping leadership make better hiring decisions. Within your first year, hiring becomes faster, more predictable, and higher quality.
Time-to-fill reduces. Offer acceptance improves. New hires perform well and stay longer. Most importantly, the company scales without compromising the quality of people we bring into the business. You become known as someone who doesn't just fill positions. You build teams.
