We're looking for well-versed Technical Project Manager focusing on infrastructure to join our banking client in Bangkok, Thailand on a 1-year renewable contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects across the APAC region, including operating system upgrades, endpoint management tools, backup systems, monitoring solutions, and offshoring support initiatives.
- Drive implementation of regionally or globally initiated projects such as Windows 11 migration, Windows Server 2012/2016 upgrades, Microsoft Intune deployments, Rubrik backups, Zscaler rollouts, SolarWinds monitoring, and offshore support transitions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across branches in Singapore, Tokyo, and other locations, as well as with third-party vendors.
- Provide clear and timely communication with stakeholders, including regular updates on project milestones, risks, challenges, and resolutions.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, documentation, and post-project reviews for senior leadership.
- Identify potential project risks and issues early, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and objectives.
- Track project performance, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Work closely with internal IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues as they arise.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in managing IT infrastructure projects.
- 35 years of hands-on experience with systems such as Wintel, Microsoft 365, Intune, SolarWinds, VMware, backup solutions, and Azure.
- Demonstrated experience in executing regional or global IT projects, including branch-level coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and the local language.
Preferred/Good to Have:
- Prior experience in the Financial Services or Banking sector.
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
- ITIL certification.
- Experience working in culturally diverse or international teams.
- Understanding of local IT regulatory requirements.
- Additional technical certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSD, MCSE).
