Technical Service Engineer Energy Storage Projects (Thailand)
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Service Engineer to support the delivery, commissioning, and after-sales service of energy storage projects in Sri Lanka. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth project execution, providing on-site technical support, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the delivery, installation, and commissioning of energy storage systems, ensuring projects meet technical and safety standards.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for customers, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system performance optimization.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and service activities to ensure stable and reliable operation of deployed systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and supply chain, to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and customer training materials.
- Offer technical guidance to clients and partners, helping them understand system functionalities and operational best practices.
- Respond promptly to service requests and support emergency troubleshooting when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Energy Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical service, commissioning, or field engineeringpreferably in renewable energy or energy storage systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, inverters, BESS, or power electronics.
- Hands-on experience with field troubleshooting and commissioning tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to project sites across Sri Lanka.
- Familiarity with safety standards and site HSE practices.
