Job Purposes

The 1 is seeking a highly autonomous and customer-obsessedSenior Product Ownerto lead the vision, strategy, and execution of high-impact products. As a Senior Product Owner, you will refine the product backlog to optimize for ROI, execute incremental product launches, and serve as the voice of the entire product team. This role demands a balance of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the product strategy, roadmap, and execution with minimal guidance. Proactively identify opportunities, make informed decisions, and drive the product forward while managing ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Act as the advocate for the product team by understanding business objectives, gathering insights from stakeholders, and translating them into clear product goals and solutions. Communicate the overall product vision and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment across teams and the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, aligning on goals and acting as a trusted advisor. Facilitate discussions to gather insights, clarify expectations, and ensure the product strategy reflects business needs.
  • Create clear, actionable product goals with measurable success criteria. Develop and maintain a benefits realization plan to track the value delivered over time.
  • Take ownership of the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on business value, customer impact, and effort. Plan and deliver work in the smallest increments to optimize ROI and enable early delivery of value.
  • Lead the team in delivering high-quality product releases in small increments. Ensure each release contributes to the broader roadmap (reusable and scalable) while delivering immediate benefits to customers and the business.
  • Clearly articulate product priorities, goals, and release plans to both the team and stakeholders. Represent the overall product vision, not just the work of your squad, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Review, accept, or reject user stories based on their alignment with product goals, quality standards, and readiness for deployment. Ensure every story adds value and meets the definition of done.
  • Track and analyze product adoption metrics, user feedback, and performance data. Use insights to identify areas for improvement and inform future product decisions.
  • Continuously learn and leverage product management best practices, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration across the team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or a similar role with a proven track record of delivering impactful products.
  • Expertise in backlog prioritization frameworks (e.g., WSJF, MoSCoW) and ROI-driven decision-making.
  • Strong experience in planning and executing incremental product launches with measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, delivering high-impact results.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable product strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery models.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and data analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional environments with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Passion for technology and customer experience, with a commitment to innovation and excellence.
