Test Automation Specialist

Job Title - Senior UFT Automation Test Engineer

Experience - 5 to 7ears

Location - Mumbai

1. 
   Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT/QTP and VBScript to support enterprise application testing and regression suites
2. .Analyze business and functional requirements, identify automation opportunities, and develop robust Keyword, Data-Driven, or Hybrid Automation Frameworks
3. .Execute automated regression test cycles, log defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely defect resolution while maintaining high-quality deliverables
4. .Develop, maintain, and optimize reusable automation scripts, object repositories, and regression test packs to improve test coverage and execution efficiency
5. .Perform peer reviews of automation scripts, enforce QA standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of test automation processes and best practices
6. .Work with Oracle, SQL, or Sybase databases to validate test results, execute SQL queries, and support end-to-end testing activities
7. .Manage automation assets using ALM, JIRA, and Bitbucket, and contribute to release planning, test plans, execution reports, and test closure documentation
8. .Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and demonstrate automated solutions to application and business stakeholders
9. .Estimate automation effort, prepare daily, weekly, and monthly status reports, and communicate testing progress, risks, and KPIs to Test Leads and project teams
10. .Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and manual testing, with knowledge of the Investment Banking domain, is highly desirable
11. .Create and maintain automation architecture documentation, user guides, and technical documentation while supporting production-quality testing processes
