About the Company

Our client is an ultra-luxury tour operator specializing exclusively in bespoke travel experiences across Asia. The company crafts high-end travel arrangements for discerning travelers across 38 Asian destinations, ensuring flawless execution behind the scenes.

The Travel Consultant will work closely with the Sales team (New York), Product team, Customer Service, and international partners to deliver exceptional travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Trip Coordination

  • Manage confirmed bookings by liaising with hotels, ryokans, guides, restaurants, and transportation providers.
  • Ensure all travel details are executed seamlessly and meet luxury service standards.

Vendor Communication

  • Act as the primary contact for suppliers to confirm services, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.

Quotations & Revisions

  • Prepare accurate cost quotations for new travel requests.
  • Update pricing for revised itineraries requested by clients.

Reservations & Bookings

  • Handle all booking arrangements, including accommodations, transport, dining, activities, and special requests.

Financial Tracking

  • Monitor payment deadlines and coordinate with Finance.
  • Ensure all trip financials are accurate and aligned with internal systems.
  • (Finance team processes the payments.)

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work with Product on vendor information, Sales on client requirements, and Customer Service on trip execution.

Issue Flagging

  • Use judgment and common sense to identify potential risks or disadvantages in partner offers or logistics and escalate accordingly.

You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English for international communication.
  • At least 1 year of experience in travel coordination, operations, or a related role.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with high attention to detail and reliability.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Passion for travel and familiarity with destinations across Asia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ease with travel-related systems.
