Job Description

The ICRC Regional Delegation in Bangkok seeks to fill the following position:

Unreal Engine Game Designer, (Virtual Reality Programmer), based in Bangkok

We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude to join our team.

The Game Developer contributes to the design, planning, and implementation of interactive digital and virtual reality projects in coordination with the Bangkok based team, working closely with Head Office in Geneva and collaborating with other teams and partners globally. The role supports the delivery of high quality Unreal Engine based applications and immersive experiences and contributes to representing the organisation externally through technical collaboration, ensuring solutions effectively support organisational objectives and stakeholder engagement.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪ Build and deliver Unreal Engine projects from concept to final release.

▪ Create interactive experiences including VR, simulations, and training tools.

▪ Work with designers, artists, and stakeholders to turn ideas into working products.

▪ Optimise projects for performance across desktop and VR.

▪ Troubleshoot technical issues and support testing and deployment.

▪ Support team knowledge sharing and documentation.

YOUR PROFILE:

▪ Strong portfolio with Unreal Engine projects (playable builds preferred).

▪ Around 3+ years of game or real-time development experience.

▪ Solid Blueprint skills and good understanding of Unreal workflows.

▪ Experience with optimisation, performance, and asset management.

▪ VR development experience is a strong plus.

▪ Basic C++ knowledge is a plus, but not essential.

▪ Good English communication skills.
