Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented UI/UX designer with experience in Life &General Insurance. You will work closely with Business Analyst, Application Architect, and development teams to design and refine intuitive, user-centric interfaces for the Life & General Insurance Claims Management System. The role involves translating business requirements and process flows into effective digital experiences, ensuring visual consistency and usability across all modules of the system.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand functional requirements, user journeys, and process flows in the insurance claims domain.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups using tools such as Figma or equivalent.
- Design responsive layouts and reusable UI components aligned with the project's design system and accessibility standards.
- Conduct UX research and feedback sessions with relevant stakeholders to validate designs.
- Ensure visual consistency across all screens and workflows for both Life and General Insurance product lines.
- Prepare clear handoff specifications for developers, supporting implementation and review cycles.
- Work with QA and developers to verify design accuracy post-deployment.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) as part of a multi-squad delivery setup.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, layout design, and responsive behavior.
- 3+ years of experience designing enterprise web applications or complex transactional portals (insurance domain preferred).
- Proficiency in Figma or equivalent collaborative design tools for prototyping and design system management.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
- Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, Angular components) to communicate effectively with developers.
- Understanding of user accessibility standards and UX best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and analytical thinking.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with relevant insurance platforms and systems is a plus.
- Portfolio demonstrating wireframes, prototypes, and UI design samples is a plus.
Education and Certification
- Bachelors or Master degree in Design, Business, Insurance, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
