Video Editor

Job Description:

Statrys is seeking a Video Editor to support our dynamic marketing team. If you are passionate about video editing, post-production, and visual storytelling, and are eager to grow your career in digital marketing, this role is for you.

As part of the video team, you will focus primarily on editing and post-production, helping turn raw footage into clear, engaging, and platform-ready content. You will work closely with other team members to edit videos for Statrys channels, including YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other social platforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and brand alignment across all outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video content for Statrys digital channels, including YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and social platforms.
• Organise raw footage, project files, and digital assets to support an efficient editing workflow.
• Prepare rough cuts and final edits in collaboration with video producers.
• Apply basic colour correction, audio balancing, and formatting to meet quality standards.
• Contribute creative input on pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
• Support content scheduling and publishing across Statrys channels.
• Assist with other video-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Fresh graduate from the bachelor's degree in Video Production, Communications, or related fields.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams.
• Experience with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Ability to manage basic lighting, audio, and camera setup for small-scale shoots.
• Detail-oriented with a strong interest in digital media, content creation, filmmaking, or visual storytelling.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable Skills / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Photoshop or alternative photo editing software for creating Youtube thumbnails.
• Experience posting/publishing content on Youtube and LinkedIn.
