Job Summary**

The WB Branch Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail and SME clients within a UOB branch, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets for a wide range of banking products and services.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective retail and SME customers, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Proactively identify and acquire new customers through various channels, including referrals, networking, and cold calling, to expand the bank's customer base.
  • Promote and cross-sell UOB's full suite of products and services, including deposits, loans, credit cards, investments, and insurance, to meet individual and branch sales objectives.
  • Conduct financial needs analysis for customers, offering appropriate product recommendations and ensuring suitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent after-sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and provide feedback to management.
  • Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments, such as credit, operations, and product teams, to facilitate seamless customer service and product delivery.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or business development within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with exposure to retail and/or SME clients.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, and insurance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in Thai and good command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Possession of relevant financial licenses or certifications (e.g., Investment Consultant License) would be an advantage.
