WB Branch Relationship Manager

Job Summary

The WB Branch Relationship Manager is responsible for cultivating and managing strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of high-net-worth individual and business banking clients within the assigned branch. This role focuses on understanding client financial needs, providing tailored solutions, and driving business growth for the bank.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively acquire new high-net-worth individual and business clients through networking, referrals, and active engagement within the local community.
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis for clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling a comprehensive range of UOB products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, insurance, and wealth management solutions.
  • Develop and implement personalized financial plans and strategies for clients, aligning with their financial goals and risk profiles.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adjust client strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant banking regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards in all client interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal specialists (e.g., investment advisors, product managers, credit officers) to deliver holistic and integrated client solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on client portfolio performance, sales activities, and business development initiatives to management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in branch marketing activities and client events to enhance UOB's brand presence and attract new business.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or financial services, preferably within a banking or wealth management environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, and insurance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify client needs, and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with local market dynamics and business landscape is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in Thai and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
