Account Executive - Cyber Security Insurance

This is an exciting opportunity in a new role for a senior broker (or a junior broker for fresh grads) to join Howden Maxi Insurance Broker Co.,Ltd.

Role & Responsibility:

  • You will champion the cyber security insurance cause as a broker for your locale to build the portfolio.
  • Lead business development, marketing, planning, partnering and networking to build up the portfolio of clients for cyber insurance in your locale.
  • Interface with insurance underwriters to present your clients risks appropriately and negotiating on behalf of clients interests.
  • Pitch, present, guide and articulate terms and product offerings, while using in-house risk /loss tools (including interfacing with C-Suites)
  • Become a product/cyber environment/regulatory environment/cyber tools knowledge go-to expert for your locale.
  • You will participate in cyber claims process with clients following a cyber incident to offer assistance as a broker.

Your Profile

  • A Cyber consultant/digital forensic/loss adjuster/incident response manager of between
  • Alternatively, you have been an insurance broker/underwriter within Cyber, or a similar product line
  • Fresh graduates are welcome

Overall, you would be passionate about cyber security / cyber risk management and are wanting to switch over to cyber insurance broking field.

You will offer knowledge and understanding around post-cyber-incident remediation cycle of activities. You understand the impact of cyber risk first-hand working with clients as part of incident response.

As a junior professional, you may be eligible for a junior broker role on the basis that you'd originate from an Information Technology / Security background, whether it be working profession or studies.

It is considered beneficial if you offer:

  • BSc degree holder (minimum) in computer science, finance/accounting, business;
  • A recognised Cyber security related certification is a plus but not a must-have.
  • Experience working with c-suites in a consultative role
  • Strong language and communication abilities: Good command of English, and one other Asian language.
  • Thai nationals only.
