Job Description

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a driven and proactive Account Manager to join our team. This role combines account management and business development responsibilities, with a strong focus on supporting existing merchant growth and assisting in acquiring new merchant partners on our platform.

The ideal candidate is commercially minded, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by helping merchants succeed after onboarding. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth merchant acquisition and onboarding journey, while supporting merchants to maximize adoption and performance on our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned merchant partners, acting as their key point of contact.
  • Identify opportunities to increase adoption, transaction volume, and usage of platform features.
  • Work with internal teams (marketing, operations, product, tech) to resolve merchant issues and improve merchant satisfaction.
  • Assist merchants with campaign planning, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive growth.
  • Track merchant performance and provide insights or recommendations to improve results.
  • Conduct periodic check-ins with merchants to gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in acquiring new merchants and expanding market presence when required, which may include:
  • Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our payment solutions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate agreement execution with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure new merchants are successfully onboarded.
  • Support new and existing merchants to ensure success on the platform.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related role (preferably in e-commerce or payment).
  • Strong ability to build trust with merchants and influence decision-making.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interest in merchant ecosystems, platform-based growth models and payment solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret merchant performance trends and propose actions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
