Summary

Responsible for full scopes of Account Receivables (AR), ), i.e., Billing and Invoicing, Cash Application & Reconciliation, Collections Management & Reporting in an efficient and timely manner to ensure compliance with the relevant policies, procedures, and financial controls. This role report to the Tower Lead – AR based in Malaysia, with a dotted reporting line to the Head of Finance for Thailand. This role will also be expected to provide insights and analytical support for key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

A. Billing and Invoicing

  • Prepare and issue invoices accurately and on time via email or designated portals
  • Verify contract details and follow up on unsigned or pending agreements
  • Track and update customer POs, ensuring correct references to avoid invoice rejection
  • Issue credit memos for exceptions in line with DoA approval
  • Maintain accurate customer records in NetSuite, ensuring proper authorization and compliance

B. Cash Application & Reconciliation

  • Application of incoming payments to the correct customer accounts and receivable invoices, ensure reconciliation process is in place.
  • Assist in reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Prepare AR reconciliation, investigate, and address any discrepancies.

C. Collections Management & Reporting

  • Assist in addressing overdue accounts by contacting customers to secure payment on overdue invoices, or escalation to respective department for aged accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of billing schedules and invoices (rental, cross-connect, fit-out) for review.
  • Assist in preparing the monthly AR Ageing/ Report.
  • Maintain good relationships with stakeholders, i.e., customers.
  • Cross-department collaboration, organize stand-up meetings to provide regular progress updates to the sales team.

D. Compliance

  • Ensure Internal Control Framework compliance across activities. Adhere to segregation of duties defined by management.
  • Support GL Team on annual audits, tax return and other statutory bodies to ensure timeline submission and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and reconcile Output VAT, and ensure accurate reporting in VAT filings (PP30)
  • Ensure compliance of tax invoices and supporting documents in accordance with Thai tax regulations

E. Ad hoc

  • Maintain good relationships with stakeholders, i.e., Cross-department collaboration, organize stand-up meetings to provide regular progress updates to the stakeholders.
  • To involve and assist in duties assigned from time to time by the Management.
  • To involve and support in annual audit and tax filing.
  • To involve and assist in E-invoicing filing.
  • Assist in process standardization and optimization for AR Tower across the Group

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a Professional Qualification (CPA/ CPD).
  • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant working experience.
  • Familiar with relevant accounting standards (US GAAP, TFRS, IFRS).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to adapt in MNC/ Crossed Border Management environment.
  • Financial focus and experience, sensitive in numbers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Experience with Oracle NetSuite will be advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good organization, analytical skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Committed with a strong sense of responsibility and able to work within deadlines.
