Accounting & Finance (Senior Associate/Assistant Manager)

We're looking for a Accounting & Finance (Senior Associate/Assistant Manager) to join our Finance team.

As we continue scaling our regional presence across Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, and globally, we are seeking handson, strategic Accounting & Finance team members to lead our regional accounting operations; this role goes beyond traditional accounting, as you will oversee multicurrency platform transaction flows, manage crossborder intercompany arrangements, and ensure regional tax compliance, while delivering statutorycompliant, auditready, and accurate financial statements across all operating entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Regional Financial Closing & Reporting: Lead and supervise month-end and year-end closing activities for regional entities (Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia). Review consolidated financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Platform & Cross-Border Transactions: Oversee high-volume marketplace transaction flows, payment gateway reconciliations, platform fee recognition, escrow payouts, and cross-border withholdings.
• Intercompany & Transfer Pricing: Manage intercompany transactions, foreign exchange gain/loss accounting, and cross-border service fee allocations across regional subsidiaries.
• Taxation & Compliance: Ensure strict tax compliance across all active markets, including VAT/GST/WHT, corporate income tax, and international tax treaties. Serve as the primary contact point for local revenue authorities and external tax advisors.
• Audit & Internal Controls: Direct annual statutory audit processes across overseas entities, working closely with external auditors. Establish robust accounting policies, intercompany reconciliation framework, and internal controls tailored for a fast-paced tech platform.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the accounting team, fostering a culture of technical accuracy, continuous process improvement, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active CPD/CPA qualification is required.
• 7–10 years accounting experience, including at least 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Handson accounting operations and closing financial statements for overseas entities in Southeast Asia (specifically SG, VN, and ID).
• Proven crossborder expertise in recording, reviewing, and handling international transactions, multicurrency accounting, and intercompany settlements.
• Industry background in tech platforms, ecommerce, digital payments, or fastpaced marketplace environments. Big 4 audit background is a strong plus.
• Cloud ERP proficiency with modern systems (e.g., SAP or Xero) and payment gateway reconciliation workflows.
• Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration with regional teams and external advisors.
