Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager oversees all financial and accounting activities to support the company's logistics operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, timely month-end closing, cost control, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The Accounting Manager plays a key role in supporting management with financial insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring accounting data and delivering financial reports and performance analysis to management
• Supervise and coach accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, and budget preparation.
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Work closely with operations, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure correct cost allocation.
• Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial report; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
• Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.
• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
• Presents recommendations to management on short-and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
• Ensure proper documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are in place.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Key Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or transportation is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Thai GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
• Proven analytical skills and team leadership experience, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS excel, word and power point
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.
