Job Purpose
To lead and manage the Accounting Department by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, compliance with financial regulations, and the enhancement of team efficiency. This role supports executive decision-making by providing strategic financial insights and reliable reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SET regulations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with department heads
- Manage accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Financial Reporting
- Supervise and coach accounting staff, reviewing bookkeeping processes and improving internal controls
- Monitor accounting data and deliver financial reports and performance analysis to management
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors during month-end and year-end closing, providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filing and address related issues with tax professionals
- Provide financial advice to executives on strategic decisions affecting the company's financial health
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
- CPA certification is a plus
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of TFRS (Thai Financial Reporting Standards) and tax regulations
- Proven analytical skills and team leadership experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
