An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a well-established and respected organisation in central Bangkok, conveniently located near major BTS and MRT stations. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all finance, accounting, tax, and BOI matters for Thai entities, ensuring full compliance with Thai GAAP and international reporting standards.

What You'll Do

As Accounting Manager, you will oversee end-to-end financial operations and ensure accurate reporting across multiple Thai entities. Your daily responsibilities will include month-end closing, reconciliations, group reporting under IFRS, and preparation of statutory accounts. You will serve as the primary BOI expert-managing applications, compliance, and relationships with government officials.

You will also lead tax responsibilities such as VAT, withholding tax, CIT filings, and liaising with authorities. Treasury oversight will include cash flow forecasting and coordination with global teams. Your role will extend to maintaining legal documents, contract registers, and supporting governance processes. Success requires attention to detail, strong technical expertise, and the ability to communicate confidently across departments.

Core duties include:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial accounting and reporting under Thai GAAP.

  • Prepare balance sheets, P&L, trial balances, sub-ledgers, and month-end reconciliations.

  • Manage monthly group reporting under IFRS, including MAR reports and disclosures.

  • Prepare statutory accounts and coordinate with internal and external auditors.

  • Lead all BOI activities including applications, amendments, registrations, and compliance.

  • Manage tax filings: VAT, WHT, CIT submissions, inspections, and liaison with authorities.

  • Oversee treasury tasks including cash flow forecasting and coordination with HQ.

  • Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and strengthen processes.

  • Maintain legal documentation, contract registers, and support board and shareholder meetings.

What You Bring

Your proven experience as an Accounting Manager in Thailand positions you to excel in this role. With over ten years in finance, you bring deep understanding of statutory reporting, tax regulations, and BOI processes. You communicate effectively in both Thai and English, collaborate well with teams, and build strong relationships across all levels.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance; Master's in Finance or Economics preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years experience in finance roles within Thailand.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams.

  • Excellent Thai and English communication skills.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Proven ability to work with BOI, EEC, or IBC authorities when relevant.

  • Strong understanding of Thai tax: VAT, WHT, CIT, inspections, and regulatory communication.

  • Experience implementing internal controls and supporting compliance frameworks.

  • Ability to manage corporate housekeeping and contract documentation.
