About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Aftermarket Export Sales Supervisor to drive international sales growth and expand our customer and distributor network in assigned overseas markets. The role develops market and sales strategies, acquires new customers, strengthens relationships with existing importers and distributors, and oversees the sales process from forecasting and order management through delivery and payment collection.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, overseas business partners, and internal teams to achieve sales targets and support the continued growth of AEROKLAS products in international automotive aftermarket markets.
Key Responsibilities
International Sales and Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans for assigned international markets.
- Identify and acquire new customers, importers, distributors, and business partners.
- Maintain existing customer relationships, increase sales, and sustain business profitability.
- Analyze market potential, customer needs, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, product offerings, commercial terms, and business conditions with overseas customers.
- Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive customers and relevant business partners.
Customer and Distributor Management
- Serve as the primary contact for customers and manage business correspondence professionally.
- Respond to customer concerns and coordinate corrective action plans with relevant departments.
- Visit importers, distributors, and customers and participate in overseas business activities as assigned.
- Coordinate with AEROKLAS joint ventures and affiliated companies in overseas markets.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and provide accurate information to customers and the sales team.
Sales Operations and Order Management
- Manage customer orders and identify opportunities to increase sales in assigned territories.
- Monitor production and shipment schedules to support complete and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments to meet product, quality, documentation, and delivery requirements.
- Follow up outstanding payments and control customer aging to minimize overdue accounts and bad-debt risks.
- Coordinate new product models and Engineering Change Notices when required.
Sales Planning and Reporting
- Prepare quarterly, annual, and ad hoc sales forecasts for management review.
- Prepare sales reports, market analyses, and business updates for executives.
- Monitor performance against targets and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Submit timely reports following customer visits, business trips, and trade exhibitions.
Marketing and Trade Exhibition Support
- Research relevant trade shows and exhibitions in assigned markets.
- Participate in domestic and international trade exhibitions as assigned.
- Work with Marketing to develop brochures, point-of-purchase materials, and sales-support materials.
- Provide market and customer insights to support marketing and product-development activities.
Team Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
- Promote effective teamwork and a positive, results-oriented working environment.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Accounting, Planning, Product Development, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, and other teams.
- Perform other duties or special assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in export sales, international business, distributor management, or overseas market development.
- Experience in automotive products, automotive accessories, or the automotive aftermarket industry is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop sales strategies, expand international markets, and achieve challenging sales targets.
- Strong commercial negotiation, customer relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership capability with the ability to manage, coach, and motivate a sales team.
- Good command of written and spoken English for international business communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to prepare forecasts, reports, and executive presentations.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Proactive, target-driven, resilient, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and teamwork skills.
