Key Accountabilities
Short-Term Production Planning Ownership
Own weekly and daily production planning for assigned product lines.
- Generate and release weekly production plan based on MPS.
- Align production sequence with material availability.
- Coordinate with Production to confirm capacity loading.
- Adjust plan in case of shortage, machine downtime, or demand change.
- Ensure plan is properly reflected in ERP/MRP system.
- Review customer demand and forecast changes.
- Run MRP and analyze exception messages.
- Identify material shortages and coordinate with Purchasing.
- Escalate supply risks to Analyst II.
- Monitor FG, WIP, RM inventory vs plan.
- Prevent overproduction and excess build.
- Support E&O tracking and mitigation actions.
- Review safety stock alignment with actual consumption.
- Coordinate daily with Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing.
- Support Sales inquiry regarding delivery feasibility.
- Participate in internal Demand & Supply Review (support role).
- Execute MRP transactions.
- Maintain planning parameters under supervision.
- Validate BOM discrepancies impacting planning.
- Ensure data integrity in Oracle planning module.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Engineering / Supply Chain / Business).
- Good understanding of MRP & production planning logic.
- Multi-level BOM knowledge.
- Advanced Excel (Pivot, VBA preferred).
- Power BI preferred.
- ERP experience preferred.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
- High ownership mindset.
- Ability to lead cross-functional discussions.
- 1 - 3 years in Production Planning / Supply Chain.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Good command both written and spoken English.
