The Assistant Bar Manager supports the Bar Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, consistent beverage quality, effective team performance, and efficient operational control. This role combines hands-on service leadership with team supervision, beverage knowledge, inventory management, and commercial awareness.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Senior Bartender, Bar Supervisor, Assistant Bar Manager, or similar position within an upscale restaurant, bar, or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and beverage service.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of beverage cost control, inventory management, POS systems, and bar operations.
• Strong guest service, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
• Strong attention to detail with a hands-on approach to operations.
• Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and high standards of grooming.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts according to operational requirements.
