Role Description The Assistant Director of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based at Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach in Pattaya. This role supports the Director of Finance in managing all aspects of the resort's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, coordinating financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. The Assistant Director of Finance collaborates closely with operational departments to provide financial insights, optimize costs, and support strategic decision-making. The role also involves leading and developing the finance team, maintaining robust internal controls, and contributing to annual audits and periodic reviews.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements, with solid knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices.
- Well-developed analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Previous experience in hospitality or related service industries, ideally in a finance leadership or supervisory role.
- Ability to maintain effective internal controls, ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations, and support audit processes.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and lead a diverse finance team.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are an advantage.
