Job Summary

You will lead the Electrical & Instrumentation team to plan, oversee, and execute construction, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring projects meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage E&I construction, testing, and commissioning activities to meet project milestones and quality standards
• Lead and supervise E&I engineers, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure safe and efficient project execution
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, taking corrective actions to achieve targets
• Prepare and review technical documents, methodologies, and project plans for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, regulations, and client specifications throughout project phases
• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and commissioning activities to verify compliance and performance
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth project delivery
• Investigate E&I equipment failures, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Develop and implement Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures to maintain a strong safety culture
• Promote and enforce HSE compliance across all project activities
• Provide immediate technical support during plant emergencies to resolve issues promptly
• Develop and enhance E&I operating procedures and maintenance practices to improve reliability
• Mentor and assess E&I engineers, identifying training needs to build team capability
• Participate actively in project meetings, technical reviews, and audits to support project governance
• Perform other assigned duties to support project and organizational objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Systems Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR Diploma in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in E&I construction, commissioning, and maintenance within industrial environments
• Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial control systems
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Commitment to safety and quality standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in power generation, waste-to-energy, or process plant facilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation systems
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and effective communication skills
• Self-motivated and resourceful with willingness to work extended hours as required
