Assistant Manager – Mobile Equipment Maintenance

Responsibilities:

1. Lead Preventive, Corrective, and Breakdown Maintenance for heavy mobile and terminal equipment.
2. Oversee Trucks, Chassis, Terminal Tractors / Yard Trucks, Reach Stackers, Empty Container Handlers, Forklifts, and other mobile terminal equipment.
3. Drive equipment availability, reliability, safety, and downtime reduction in a 24/7 operating environment.
4. Provide hands-on technical support for troubleshooting, repair, modification, and equipment improvement.
5. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major and recurring failures and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
6. Monitor Availability, Reliability, MTTR, and Downtime and use maintenance data to drive improvement.
7. Utilize CMMS for maintenance planning, work orders, equipment history, reporting, and performance monitoring.
8. Lead and develop Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians, and maintenance personnel, including manpower and maintenance scheduling.
9. Manage maintenance resources, spare parts, and operating costs to improve efficiency and control expenses.
10. Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, contractors, and external service providers on technical issues, repairs, and maintenance activities.
11. Support equipment procurement, commissioning, upgrading, modification, and modernization, including Automation, Electrification, and Digitalization initiatives.
12. Work closely with Operations, HSE, Engineering, management, and external partners to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in heavy/mobile equipment maintenance, engineering, port, terminal, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
3. Proven experience in supervising or leading engineering / maintenance teams.
4. Strong hands-on experience in Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis.
5. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, heavy-duty diesel engine, powertrain, and transmission systems.
6. Experience with maintenance planning, equipment reliability, CMMS, and maintenance KPIs such as Availability, Reliability, MTTR, and Downtime.
7. Experience coordinating with OEMs, vendors, contractors, and external service providers.
8. Experience in maintenance cost control, spare parts, manpower planning, or resource management is an advantage.
9. Experience in Project Management, Automation, Electrification, Digitalization, equipment modernization, Lean, or Continuous Improvement is highly desirable.
10. Good command of English, with the ability to communicate technical information and prepare reports.
11. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and ownership skills.
12. Willing to work on-site in Sriracha, Chonburi, support 24/7 operations, and respond to critical equipment breakdowns when required.
