Job Description

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead in managing end-to-end recruitment for both office and retail roles in Thailand.
  • Partner with and build trusted relationships with stakeholders and business leaders to understand HR needs and align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new employees to provide an enriching orientation experience for corporate office stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement people strategies and initiatives aligned with JD Sports Thailand's business direction.
  • Coach, support, and mentor line managers to promote a strong understanding of JD's policies and values, fostering a positive people culture.
  • Act as an HR consultant in areas such as change management, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and engagement.
  • Use data metrics and people analytics to inform decisions and provide recommendations to stakeholders, including retention strategies and employee engagement improvements.
  • Manage the monthly payroll processing for JD Sports Thailand and submit payroll reports for approval.
  • Liaise with government departments on any new laws that impact payroll operations in Thailand.
  • Liaise with payroll vendors or persons-in-charge on any payroll-related issues.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including but not limited to compliance with payroll audit standards, performance management, people engagement, and HR advisory.
  • Manage HR administration for all office-based employees in Thailand.
  • Attend to HR matters in the store, including staff disciplinary actions and counselling.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyse turnover data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support annual HR processes such as people reviews and performance appraisals.
  • Analyse and respond to annual engagement survey data to support department-level people initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on complex employee relations matters to ensure legal compliance, consistency, and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Reward and Finance teams on headcount planning and budget control linked to people initiatives.
  • Follow through on administrative matters and partner with the Reward team.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

  • At least 8 years of working experiences in retail industry or equivalent.
  • Energetic, with a high sense of initiative, drive, and ability to work independently, deal with multiple tasks and tight timelines and prioritize.
  • Practical in-depth knowledge of HR administrative procedure for Thailand.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
